Welcome to Little Poppets Childcare!

Little Poppets provides a home from home environment where children can be safe in a loving and caring environment, where they can learn and play.

My name is Leeanne and I am an Ofsted registered childminder for Little Poppets childcare. I am a fully qualified Paediatric first aider and always ensure that my training is maintained and kept up to date. My husband and I are fully CRB checked and I am trained in Safeguarding children.

I live in Stone Cross; Pevensey, with my husband and our two children. Our home is in Stone Cross, which is situated close to Dittons Road, making our location easily accessible by car or bus.

The entire ground floor of our home is used for childcare, the children in my care will have the opportunity to do a variety of activities which will link to the framework of the EYFS. We also have a safe and secure garden area for the children to play in.

As well as bringing up my own two children, I have also had previous experience of working with children in a school environment as a teaching assistant; where I have had great experience with children of a wide range of ages and with different learning needs and abilities.

A Typical Day at  Little Poppets

At Little Poppets each day is different! We always try to include something for everyone according to age, ability and the children’s interests. Activities are changed from week to week depending on the individual children we have in our care. Every day we have a trip out and about, where we go is usually decided by the weather, but we always ensure an adventure is had wherever we go!!
